Karuna is a Sanskrit word that means "Compassionate action". With Karuna Reiki®, we channel stronger healing energies and connect with the healing and wisdom of the enlightened ones, such as Jesus, Kuan Yin - Goddess of Compassion, Mother Mary and Avalokiteshvara, to name a few.
Karuna Reiki® was developed by William Lee Rand, along with other healers he worked with at The International Center for Reiki Training. They had received many symbols during meditations and decided to work with them, asking for guidance on how these symbols connected to healing energy, and how best to channel that energy.
